Help for DRS drivers.

Answers to the questions drivers ask us most, and how to reach a real person when they don't cover it.

Email us

feedback@drs.club

Tell us which app you use (DRS or DRS NTI), your phone model, and what happened. A screenshot helps. A person on the DRS crew reads every message.

Delete your account

In the app, open your profile, then Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account. Or do it on the web while signed in.

Privacy & terms

What we collect, who sees your position, how long we keep things, and the rules for what you post.

Drive first. Set your destination and join your convoy before you set off, and leave the phone to a passenger or to when you're parked. If anyone is in danger, contact emergency services before anything else.

Convoys

Driving together.

What is a convoy?

A group drive. One driver leads, everyone follows the same route, and you all see each other on the map, on your phone and on the car's screen. Anyone in the convoy can ask the group for a fuel stop or a break with one tap.

How do I join one?

Open the invite link the leader sends you, or scan the leader's convoy QR code from the DRS app. Join before you set off, while you're parked.

Who sees me while I'm in a convoy?

The other members of that convoy see your position and convoy activity at any distance. Everyone else sees you only as your transponder setting allows.

The transponder & privacy

You decide who sees you.

What is the transponder?

It decides who can see your position on their map. Pick a mode from the map and change it whenever you like; it starts in Public. The glow around your arrow shows the mode you're in, so you can check it at a glance.

Who can see me in each mode?
  • Public (green): other DRS drivers who are online.
  • Community (purple): members of the communities you belong to.
  • Crew (amber): only the people in your crew.
  • Stealth (no glow): you're hidden. Your phone stops sending your position, and other drivers are hidden from you too. You still get SOS requests from your convoy and road alerts.
Does DRS save where I've been?

Your live position isn't saved. It passes through our relay, encrypted, to the drivers your transponder allows, and the relay never writes it to disk. Things you choose to post, like a drive you share, are covered in the Privacy Policy.

Free & Premium

Premium and the free trial.

What does Premium add?

Routes that steer around live traffic, and richer place search with full addresses and opening hours. Everything else is free: navigation, offline routing, CarPlay and Android Auto, convoys and the whole social side. Pricing for paid Premium will be announced at launch.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Start it in the app. No card is needed and there's nothing to cancel: Premium simply ends after 7 days. There's one trial per account and per phone.

Bought your phone second-hand and the trial won't start? Email us and we can reset it for you.

Offline routing

Directions with zero bars.

Does DRS work without cell signal?

Directions do, once you've downloaded the offline routing packs. DRS offers them in the app: a one-time base download of about 1 GB, plus a pack for your region (a few hundred MB). Download them on Wi-Fi.

Seeing other drivers live, traffic and place search still need a connection.

Where do the packs work?

Across the continental US.

In the car

CarPlay and Android Auto.

How do I use DRS on my car's screen?

Connect your phone to a car with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and DRS shows up on the car's screen, with turn-by-turn directions, lanes, speed limits and your convoy. Pick your destination before you set off, or from the car's screen.

Android Auto shows no position after an update or restart

After an app update or a phone restart, Android holds location for DRS until the app has been opened on the phone once. Open DRS on your phone while you're parked; your position comes back and stays for the drive.

Report & block

Keeping DRS friendly.

How do I report something?

Tap the ⋯ menu on a post, comment, photo, route, event or profile and choose Report. Communities have Report in their menu too. We aim to review reports within 24 hours, and the person you report is never told who reported them.

How do I block someone?

Choose Block from the same ⋯ menu. Blocking hides the two of you from each other, and they aren't told. To undo it, go to Settings → Blocked users.

Your account

Deleting your account.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open your profile, then Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account, and type DELETE. On the web, use drs.club/delete-account while signed in.

Your account is hidden from everyone straight away and erased 7 days later. Changed your mind? Email us from the account's address within the 7 days. Can't sign in? Email feedback@drs.club from the account's address and we'll delete it for you. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is erased and what stays.
